ASCO Group is an energy logistics company headquartered at 11 Harvest Avenue, Dyce, in Aberdeen, Scotland. It operates supply bases, quaysides and warehouses for customers in oil and gas, decommissioning, renewables, nuclear, mining, metals, chemicals, utilities and defence, and states that it runs more than 70 managed warehouses and supply bases worldwide.

Bases and quayside operations

Aberdeen serves as the group headquarters and UK control hub, combining supply base work, marine coordination, quayside operations and specialist training. The wholly owned Peterhead supply base has operated since 1974 at Scotland's most easterly point and is described by the company as the world's busiest private offshore support facility, while Teesworks, the largest industrial zone in the United Kingdom, uses ASCO for exclusive quayside management. Great Yarmouth hosts the southern UK headquarters, and a new office opened at the Wilton Centre in Teesside on 15 September 2026. Overseas, ASCO runs a supply base at Chaguaramas in Trinidad and Tobago with warehousing, pipe yards and vessel handling for clients including Shell and BP; a base in Senegal established in 2021, where the company says it is the sole provider of quayside management services to the country's newly formed oil and gas industry; a Suriname energy supply base set up in 2022; and operations in Norway, Canada, the United States, Namibia, Qatar and Australia, where Perth is the regional headquarters.

Contract work around this network has included a three-year extension with Aker BP, announced in March 2022, to supply base services, transport and freight forwarding, part of a run of awards the group valued at about £200 million that year. Case studies published by the company cover NORM handling during decommissioning, the operation of a supply base, a digital transformation programme for a major logistics provider, and simulation of an offshore wind supply chain from port through to installation.

Ownership and people

A consortium of investors under Zander Topco Ltd acquired ASCO Group Ltd on 18 December 2020, and the group's own timeline records private equity investor Endless LLP as owner from 2023. Leadership changes continued through 2026: Paul Hunt was appointed chief financial officer and Robert Wagstaff principal for defence on 12 August 2026 as the group expanded its defence work, and Ole Kjetil Borsheim became managing director for Norway on 4 September 2026. On 9 September 2026 ASCO received the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award, recognising two years of work supporting the Armed Forces community.

Training, safety and sustainability

Lifting training and competence was expanded on 20 August 2026 when the group gained accreditation under the Construction Plant Competence Scheme, adding to a lifting curriculum that covers inspection, equipment management, working at height and confined spaces. The group has committed to net zero by 2040 and states that switching its UK heavy goods vehicle fleet from diesel to HVO renewable fuel cuts its direct UK carbon emissions by 46%. Certification is documented on the site; Lloyd's Register presented an ISO certificate to the Aberdeen headquarters in 2019, and HSSEQ, sustainability reporting and operational infrastructure pages set out the group's policies and assets.
