DOF Group ASA is an offshore services and shipowning group based at Austevoll in western Norway, where the business began in 1981 with the aim of serving the growing North Sea offshore industry through long-term charters. The listed parent owns DOF Subsea AS, the Brazilian operator Norskan Offshore Ltda, DOF Rederi AS and DOF Management AS, and combines vessel capacity with subsea engineering, project management and marine management.
Vessels grouped by duty
The fleet overview lists more than 60 vessels under three headings — subsea, anchor handling tug supply and platform supply — and the published descriptions show how far the capability spreads. Skandi Africa is specified for subsea construction and equipment installation, inspection, repair and maintenance and ROV services down to 4,000 metres, while Skandi Açu and Skandi Buzios work to 3,000 metres on construction, pipelaying and ROV tasks, largely in Brazilian waters. Skandi Barra is identified as an MT 6000 MK II design platform supply vessel and Skandi Botafogo as an anchor handler built for Brazilian operations, with Skandi Caledonia at the larger end of the PSV class and Skandi Carla and Skandi Chieftain representing medium-sized, high-specification construction vessels. Several of the newest additions still carry temporary black-and-white photography on the site.
Three service lines
- Integrated subsea services: survey, inspection, maintenance and repair, construction and decommissioning, run with the group's own vessels, ROV and survey spreads and in-house engineering and procurement.
- Offshore wind: marine and subsea solutions for fixed and floating wind covering transport, cable installation, mooring and repair, from early planning through offshore operations.
- Marine management: ship management, crewing and technical management for group and third-party tonnage, a discipline DOF says it has practised since 1981.
Second quarter 2026

Revenue reached USD 712 million against USD 507 million a year earlier and EBITDA USD 358 million against USD 214 million, or USD 238 million once gains on vessel sales and an insurance settlement are stripped out. That settlement followed a constructive total loss declared on the vessel Skandi Amazonas, which added USD 111 million to revenue and USD 110 million to EBITDA. The board declared a quarterly dividend of USD 0.38 per share; the shares went ex-dividend on 27 August 2026 and payment followed on 4 September 2026 in Norwegian kroner at NOK 3.54785 per share. Contracts and regions
Through 2026 DOF Subsea has announced two subsea contract awards in Asia-Pacific whose combined value falls in the group's substantial band of USD 25-50 million, both to be executed with regional multipurpose vessels and in-house project management, engineering, procurement and logistics. A separate large award, worth USD 50-100 million, is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2026 in North Australian waters. The group operates from Norway across the North Sea and works in Brazil, West Africa, the Gulf of Mexico, Asia Pacific and Australia, with regional communication contacts published alongside the head office contact.
