Sectors and regions
The industry list published by the company runs to chemicals, data centres, engineering, infrastructure, mining, nuclear, offshore and marine, oil and gas, power, rail, renewable energy and technology. Geographically it organises itself into Africa, Asia Pacific, the Caspian, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and North America, and it publishes country hiring guides for clients moving staff into unfamiliar jurisdictions. Recruitment and mobilisation work is concentrated in the energy and process sectors, where the company has supplied personnel for construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance phases of large projects.
New Tech Global acquisition
On 1 September 2026 Airswift announced the acquisition of the assets of selected New Tech Global businesses for an undisclosed sum. The deal covered New Tech Global Ventures, New Tech Global Rig Personnel and NTG Auburn, the last of which was rebranded as Auburn Energy Management, an Airswift company. Airswift said the transaction increased its United States contractor base by around 30 per cent and added project and asset management, contract operations and technical advisory capability alongside its existing upstream oil and gas staffing work. Jenny Amalfi, president of the Americas, described the move as strengthening the company's position in the United States energy workforce market.
Data, research and client work
Airswift runs the GETI talent survey, reopened at the end of July 2026, and publishes reports, webinars and a newsletter on skills shortages and hiring practice; its blog and news pages carried items in September 2026 on hiring in Iraq, safety-critical chemicals roles and recruitment fraud. Clients include Stegra, the Swedish low-carbon steel developer, which has publicly credited the company with international employment, tax and visa support. A September 2026 notice warned candidates about recruitment and phishing scams using the Airswift name. The privacy notice covering candidates and contractors was last updated on 4 October 2024. On the environmental side the company publishes a Sustainability Report 2025 covering emissions, community engagement, workforce wellbeing and governance, available from its ESG pages.
