AlMansoori Specialized Engineering (MSE) is an oilfield equipment manufacturer and oilfield services group based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It was founded in 1977 as one of the first local companies to take part in the country's oilfield services sector and is approaching five decades of operation, employing about 651 people. Its head office is on the 17th floor of the AlMansoori Building on Al Salam Street in Abu Dhabi, reachable on +971 2 815 7000 or at [email protected], and the group website carries a 2026 copyright line.

Workover and drilling services

The workover and drilling division runs a fleet of five rigs: rig 175, a Loadcraft International LCI-1000-C1 with 410,000 pounds of hook load capacity, and rigs 155, 255, 355 and 455, which are 550-series units from Skytop and Key-Cooper rated at 250,000 to 275,000 pounds. The services it performs cover drilling shallow wells with rotary and power swivel rigs, well maintenance and repair, workovers, completions and recompletions, installation and servicing of artificial lift equipment, wellbore cleaning, water and gas shut-off, water injection wells, plugging and abandonment, re-entries, side-tracking and casing exits, fishing for stuck pipe and snubbing. The division also publishes equipment data sheets for a Forum Little Tripper hydraulic catwalk, an NOV JWS-340 reciprocating pump, XK-150 Venturetech and NOV S-120 power swivels, a Gardner Denver PZH triplex mud pump and a Hydra-Walk pipe handling system, together with technical specifications for each rig and its certification documents. Its workover operations are supported from a Bahrain office in the Seef District, which publishes its own address, telephone number and mailbox.

Manufacturing divisions and joint ventures

AlMansoori Petroleum Industries (AMPI) was established in Abu Dhabi in 2008 as a manufacturing subsidiary of the group. Micoda Process Systems International covers process systems, and Specialized Oilfield Products builds wireline and well service equipment, with both divisions publishing their own contact details. NOV AlMansoori Services is a joint venture with NOV. Together these businesses make up the group's industrial side, which manufactures oilfield equipment and supplies after-sales support to customers inside and outside the Emirates.

International alliances

The International Alliances Division was the first division established within the group and represents overseas manufacturers and service providers in the UAE and the wider Middle East. Its portfolio is grouped under drilling and completion, offshore engineering, geological and geophysical services, digital oilfield and artificial intelligence, enhanced oil recovery, unconventional resources, production and reservoir engineering, asset integrity and maintenance, pipeline services, consultancy and assessment, marine vessels and diving inspection, and wellbore intervention. Named principals listed on the alliances page include SLB, Baker Hughes, NOV, Superior Energy Services, Wild Well Control, Forum Energy Technologies, Claxton, GEOTERIC, Petrolink, RESMAN, Cordax, Severn Glocon, Peloton, Varel, Ulterra, Carpenter and Paterson and 2H Offshore, among roughly fifty partners.

Manpower and human resources

Recruitment and HR consultancy are delivered through ASAS Human Resources L.L.C, which the group markets to clients hiring technical staff for oilfield operations. Alongside it, MSE supplies manpower to operators and contractors in the region, and publishes a dedicated manpower mailbox for the business.

Relationship with TAQA and group policy

Al Mansoori Petroleum Services, the well services arm associated with the AlMansoori name, now forms part of the Saudi Arabian energy services group TAQA, whose contact directory lists AMPS offices in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, Libya, Bahrain, Egypt, India, Oman, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. MSE itself continues to operate its engineering, manufacturing, workover and manpower businesses from Abu Dhabi. The group publishes a combined health, happiness, safety, environment and quality (HHSEQ) policy as a downloadable document and states a vision of being a leading manufacturer and supplier of oilfield equipment, with commitments covering reduced carbon footprint, waste minimisation and the adoption of renewable energy.
