Brunel International is a Netherlands-based specialist in project and workforce solutions, placing engineers and technical staff with industrial clients. The company was founded in 1975, reports more than 120 branch offices in 45 countries, more than 11,000 specialists at work and more than 1,350 active customers across nine industries, and puts annual revenue above 1.2 billion euros for 2025. It describes its purpose as delivering customised project and workforce solutions for industry transformations through technology and talent.

Services and sectors

Three service families are marketed: project and consulting solutions, workforce solutions, and global mobility solutions. Sector coverage is led by renewables and conventional energy, with mining, life sciences, future mobility, industrials and technology alongside them. Energy work runs from upstream and LNG projects to offshore wind, grid and hydrogen assignments, and the company supplies both blue-collar site personnel and white-collar engineering, project management and consulting staff.

History

Brunel began in 1975 when Jan Brand, a graduate engineer, placed a fellow engineer in a temporary position, an activity then carried out under the name Multec. The company expanded into distinct professional fields in the 1990s with Brunel ICT, Brunel Legal, Brunel Finance and Brunel Insurance and Banking. A Houston office opened in 1994, two Toronto companies were acquired in 1996 to build a North American base, and 1995 saw the creation of Brunel Energy as a dedicated oil and gas unit, which grew through acquisitions in Scotland. The company marked its fiftieth year in 2025.

Reporting and investor relations

Brunel runs a separate corporate and investor site alongside its services website. That site carries quarterly and annual reports, analyst coverage, a financial calendar, dividend information, a share buyback programme and a capital markets day, and it published second-quarter and first-half 2026 results on 31 July 2026 with a webcast at 10:30 CET. Results and trading updates are issued at 7:30 am CET. Investors can subscribe to e-mail alerts for press releases, events, presentations and an end-of-day stock quote, and the same section provides share price data, a historical price file, an investment calculator and details of the shareholders' meeting. General questions are directed to [email protected] and investor relations enquiries to [email protected], both listed in the contact block of the investor pages.

Where Brunel works

Offices are grouped into the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa, Australasia, North America and South America. The services site divides clients into renewable energy, conventional energy, mining, power and grid, and defence, with a fourth service line, recruitment process outsourcing, sold alongside project and consulting, workforce and global mobility solutions. Candidates are routed by field into life sciences, renewables, future mobility, IT, oil and gas and mining, and the company publishes a career guide and a set of top job profiles. Brunel has also published a 50-year history on its corporate site, tracing the move from a single placement in 1975 to a network spanning more than a hundred offices. The services site is published in English at brunel.net, while the corporate and investor material sits at brunelinternational.net; both carry 2026 copyright lines. The Brunel Foundation handles its social and environmental programmes, and the brand mark, a stylised B on a yellow field, is used across both sites.
