Primary Purpose of the Job

Responsible for subsea installation activities for the BH Redevelopment Project, including pipelines, umbilicals, skids, tie-in spools, risers, J-tubes, sleepers, mattresses, and related components. Ensure installation support engineering and onshore fabrication of risers, sleepers, J-tubes, and tie-in spools comply with the approved Scope of Work, AFC drawings, and QatarEnergy safety, environmental, technical standards, and specifications.

Act as an interface between Asst Manager Construction, Asset Holder, Contractor and Sr. Installation Supervisors. Provide guidance to Sr. Construction Supervisors and the Contractor to ensure that all offshore subsea installation activities are executed in accordance with QatarEnergy requirements.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in offshore subsea installation projects, including pipelines, umbilicals, and power/composite cables.
  • Strong experience delivering offshore Oil & Gas EPIC projects.
  • Proven capability in offshore construction supervision, inspections, and contractor management.
  • Experience reviewing and approving construction method statements, inspection plans, schedules, and technical drawings.
  • Sound knowledge of industry standards, quality, HSE, and environmental requirements.
  • Ability to identify project risks and develop practical solutions.
  • Experience leading multinational and multicultural workforces.
  • Excellent communication skills and English language proficiency.
  • Experience as a Company Site Representative is an advantage.

Educational Qualifications

B.Sc. in Engineering or Construction Management from a recognized University or Diploma in Engineering (or) Petroleum Engineering or HND/Advance Diploma L3 (SVQ/NVQ-L3) or equivalent plus relevant courses in Safety, Quality Control and Construction.
