How it works
Enter a value, choose its unit, and every other unit updates at once. The factors are the standard definitions: 1 bar = 100 000 Pa, 1 psi = 6 894.757 Pa, 1 atm = 101 325 Pa.
Formula
1 bar = 100 kPa = 14.5038 psi = 0.986923 atm
Assumptions and limits
The converter changes the unit only. Gauge and absolute pressure differ by the local atmospheric pressure, so convert the gauge value and add the atmosphere yourself when you need absolute pressure. kgf/cm² uses 98 066.5 Pa; mmHg is the conventional millimetre of mercury.
For education and quick estimates only. Check the result against the applicable standards and your project data before using it in design, operation or safety decisions.
